Delightfully indulgent doughnuts made with dark and white chocolate, perfect for Halloween parties or cozy evenings.

Ingredients

  • 150 g Unsalted Butter
  • 100 ml Whole Milk
  • 1 Egg
  • 1 tsp Vanilla Extract
  • 150 g Caster Sugar
  • 150 g Plain Flour
  • 1 tsp Baking Powder
  • 25 g Cocoa Powder
  • 200 g Dark Chocolate
  • 200 g White Chocolate

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 175°C (350°F). Grease a doughnut pan with non-stick spray or butter.
  2. Mix the unsalted butter and caster sugar until light and fluffy. Add the egg, vanilla extract, and milk, mixing until fully combined.
  3. Combine the plain flour, baking powder, cocoa powder, and a pinch of salt in another bowl.
  4. Combine the dry ingredients to the wet mixture gradually. Stir until just combined, being careful not to overmix.
  5. Fill each doughnut mold about halfway with the batter.
  6. Bake for 12 to 15 minutes, or until a toothpick comes out clean.
  7. Cool the doughnuts in the pan for a few minutes before transferring them to a wire rack.
  8. Prepare the dark and white chocolate coating by melting in separate bowls.
  9. Dip the cooled doughnuts in dark chocolate, allowing excess to drip off, then repeat with white chocolate.

Notes

Experiment with toppings like sprinkles or crushed cookies for added texture.
