A delightful and fuss-free recipe with tender chicken in a creamy sauce, perfect for busy weeknights or gatherings.

Ingredients

  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 can (10.5 oz) cream of chicken soup
  • 1 packet (1 oz) ranch dressing mix
  • 1 cup (8 oz) cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • For Serving: Angel hair pasta, mashed potatoes, biscuits, or rice

Instructions

  1. Prepare the chicken by placing the breasts in the slow cooker.
  2. Mix the cream of chicken soup, ranch dressing mix, cream cheese, and chicken broth in a bowl until smooth.
  3. Combine the creamy mixture with the chicken in the slow cooker.
  4. Cook on low for 6-7 hours or high for 3-4 hours until tender.
  5. Shred the chicken and return it to the sauce in the slow cooker.
  6. Serve over angel hair pasta, mashed potatoes, biscuits, or rice.

Notes

You can substitute chicken breasts with thighs for darker meat. Use low-sodium cream of chicken soup for less salt. A homemade ranch seasoning can replace the packet.
