Ingredients
- 1 cup Chocolate Melts
- 24 Mini Pretzels
- 12 Chocolate Sandwich Cookies
- 24 Candy Eyes
- 12 Black Licorice Laces (optional)
Instructions
- Prepare your workspace: Gather all your ingredients and lay them out on a clean surface.
- Melt the chocolate: In a microwave-safe bowl, melt the chocolate melts in 30-second intervals, stirring in between until smooth.
- Coat the cookies: Dip each chocolate sandwich cookie into the melted chocolate, ensuring they are fully covered.
- Set the body: Place the coated cookies onto a parchment-lined baking sheet and allow the chocolate to set slightly (about 5 minutes).
- Add the legs: While the chocolate is still slightly wet, insert four pretzels on each side of the cookie to create eight legs.
- Attach the eyes: Dip the back of each candy eye into the melted chocolate and place two on top of each cookie.
- Serve: Once the chocolate has hardened completely, transfer the tarantulas to a serving plate.
