Ingredients

  • 2 cups cooked chicken, shredded
  • 4 cups chicken broth
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese

  2. Cook on Low: Set the crockpot on low and cook for 4 hours.
  3. Add the Cream and Sauce: After 4 hours, stir in the marinara sauce and heavy cream until well incorporated.
  4. Incorporate the Cheese: Mix in the grated Parmesan cheese and let it cook for an additional 30 minutes.
  5. Serve: Ladle the soup into bowls and garnish with fresh basil, adding cooked pasta if desired.

Notes

For a lighter version, consider using half-and-half instead of heavy cream or a dairy-free alternative.
